Q1
Does this require singing or dancing?
A1
While we can’t guarantee you won’t sing along and end up doing the worm… We
certainly don’t require it. You’re goal is to listen to the songs and identify them on your
bingo cards. Everything else is up to you!
Q2
Does it cost money?
A2
It’s almost always free to play as long as you support the location you play at by
purchasing food & beverage. On very rare occasions the bar may charge to play, and
winners may win the pot, but we advise against this as legalities vary from state to state.
Q3
Is this a team event like most trivia nights?
A3
Nope. While you can play as a team if you wish, we encourage every player to have
their own bingo card (limit 1 per person). The more cards you have at your table, the better
your chances are for winning the prize so bring a full squad ;).
Q4
What kind of music will there be?
A4
Good Thomas has become famous for our one-of-a-kind “Good Mixes”. These are
eclectic playlists, filled with hand picked gems from all genres and decades. But of course
we also have rounds based on your favorite decades, genres and some other creative
compilations.
Q5
Do I need to know every song?
A5
No (but you probably will). If you don’t know a song, using services like Shazam are
just fine and we encourage all our players to work together.
Q6
How long is the event and do I have to stay the whole time?
A6
Our Musical Bingo events are 2 hours long and they’re broken into 4 separate rounds.
You can play however many rounds you’d like. This means you can arrive late or leave
early and still get some action!
Q7
What can I win?
A7
Venues are responsible for their prizes so they vary, but they usually include gift cards,
drinks, swag, or special bar perks. We’ve even seen big prizes like skis, grills, and
BICYCLES for final rounds.
